Mission & Vision
The mission of International Maarif Schools of Erbil is to foster a lifelong commitment to intellectual curiosity and to raise children as self-reliant, responsible individuals endowed with critical thinking skills.
In light of the knowledge and skills required in the 21st century, and with the aim of raising “people of goodwill,” the goals of our schools are:
• To educate our students to become successful individuals at national and international levels who read, research, think analytically and innovatively, and create added value.
• To ensure that our students become entrepreneurial individuals who have a sense of responsibility, respect for their environment and other living beings, a developed sense of social responsibility, and an inclination toward teamwork.
• To equip our students with the knowledge, skills, and academic qualifications in the positive sciences to enable them to develop a scientific perspective.
• To develop our students’ knowledge in the field of social sciences, encourage them to think about national and international issues, and enable them to develop proposals for possible solutions.
• To equip our students with communication skills that will enable them to use their mother tongue and multiple foreign languages effectively.
• Beyond being technologically literate, to educate our students as individuals who not only consume technology but also produce it.
• To enable our students to develop themselves in different areas of sports and the arts according to their interests and abilities.
• In addition to appreciating the cultural values of their own society, to ensure that our students gain the ability to coexist with different cultures.
